A Letter to the Wardens

Built by WB Christopher Bolster, Ph.D.

When becoming a Worshipful Master, we all take a few items for granted. One of them is the idea that our Wardens know just what they are expected to do. Let us not make that leap and assume for a moment that they know very little about what they are getting themselves into. This means that we would have to tell them exactly what their role is and what you are looking for in their assistance.

WB Chris Bolster, a past master of Village Lodge No. 29 in Collinsville, CT has constructed this letter to the Wardens as an educational resource that can be used to educate a new Warden as to the responsibilities of the role and what can be expected going forward. You are welcome to download, share and adapt this work, but please do give him credit for it. We hope this is a helpful resource that you can use to be thoughtful in planning a successful year as a Warden.
